Belmont PTA is a group of volunteer parents and teachers who work together to help make our school a place where children can learn and thrive. We work to build a positive school community, and to raise extra funds through a wide range of fun and creative initiatives and events. In the past, the funds raised from the PTA were used to purchase extra, ‘nice-to-have’ resources; but now with the education funding crisis, the PTA funds are used to purchase essential resources for our school.

We are delighted to announce that we raised £11,000 in the 2023/24 school year that has gone directly to Belmont Primary. The school has used the money to purchase reading books, new iPads, outdoor learning resources and art and craft materials.  The funds were raised from a variety of fun events and activities held throughout the year, including the inaugural Belmont School Concert, Summer BBQ, Fitness Freddy, Christmas hampers, non-uniform days, tea towels, parents quiz night, cake sale, pre-loved uniform sales, Cash for Clobber recycling, and easyfundraising.org.uk. We would like to thank every person who supported us throughout 2023/24.

Belmont PTA is fortunate to have such brilliant support from the wider school community. Without the support of all the parents, carers and teachers, the PTA couldn't run the events and fund the resources that have added so much value to the children's education and enjoyment of Belmont Primary School. And our aim is not just fundraising; it's also about increasing the values of our school community and creating unique bonds across the school family that make Belmont feel like such a special place to be part of. It's also a great way to get to know other parents and teachers, particularly if you are a new parent to the school.

We encourage you to become involved with the PTA in whatever capacity you can, and we welcome new and existing parents at the school to join us. Even if you cannot attend meetings, you can volunteer to help at events or to prepare resources at home to help us out.
